How To Build A Kid's Desk With Storage

In this DIY video, we explain how to build a kid’s desk with built-in storage

Set up a special zone where kids can draw and read by building a desk and matching bench seat with built-in storage for toys.

We used Forescolor coloured MDF by Porta in blue to skip the hassle of painting.

The bench seat slots perfectly inside the desk for a low-profile design that won’t dominate a small room.

The storage cubbies were created by inserting two dividers into the hollow rectangular bench seat, which also strengthens the frame. Lightweight wicker baskets fit into the cubbies to keep toys tidy.
