slidng door

The small bathroom in this 1950s cottage was due for a reno, and to fit a full-sized bath, extra space had to be found.

On the new layout, the shower was relocated to the wall by the door.

To free up wall space, the door was replaced by a sliding cavity unit. The wall and doorframe were demolished, new stud framework was built, then a Corinthian Doors Readicote Flush Solid Core Door was installed.

The wall cavity was lined with fibre cement sheets and tiled, then the new door and frame were painted.
