Make Striped Stools

A lot of kitchen and dining stools are made from timber and finished with a clear stain or painted in white.
To make them unique and inject colour into a neutral space, wallpaper the stool tops and leave the legs.
We used Spice from the Poise collection as the bold stripes are a modern take on a traditional look, giving simple stools a classic update.
This technique also works for chairs and can be used on seat backs. Choose simple furniture, as cutting and pasting intricate shapes makes it trickier to get a flawless result.

Position the wallpaper right side down on a flat work surface. Turnthe stool over and position on the wallpaper. Trace around the seat with a marker pen, repeating until you have enough wallpaper circles for the number of stools. Cut out the wallpaper circles using sharp scissors
